7. Tim Donaghy (Basketball)
One of the things that motivate a lot of people to cheat in sport is gambling. Players, coaches and even referees have been known for “adjust points” according to their “clients” orders and then get paid under the table. Tim Donaghy, a former referee in the NBA was one of them.
During the years 2005-2007 Donaghy use to made incorrect calls in order to make some money under the table. After FBI’s Investigation Donaghy got exposed and eventually admit for his sins. Donaghy was sentenced for his crimes 15 months in jail.
