1. Tonya Harding (Figure Skating)
This Olympic-level event was so intense that it became a Hollywood movie and “I, Tonya” was released to the big screens in 2017. The event was about Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan who were two young successful American skaters that each came from different sides of the tracks.
Despite this fact, they both were talented and were in competition with each other to win the U.S. Figure Skating Championship. But things weren’t going in the “rightful way”, henchman sabotaged the competition by cause damage to Kerrigan’s knees while she left the place where her practice session was. Apparently, it was Harding’s ex-husband whose hired 2 men to do this horrible thing. In the end, none of the woman ended up taking the victory.
