8. Pikachu, Pokémon – Squirrel
Pokémon is one of the biggest franchises in the history, who don’t love Ash and his partner Pikachu? Apparently, many people discussed about the source of which Pokémon’s creator got the inspiration for Pikachu?
While many guesses are valid, but the only verified one is the squirrel. Atsuko Nishida, a graphic artist, explained that she had become very interested in squirrels and wanted her character to have cute cheeks and prominent tail. As the series goes, Pikachu slowly start to get more mouse like shape.
