There are many MLB pitchers that caught cheating, but none of them went as far as Whitey Ford, a former player from New York Yankees. Ford used his ring on his finger to cut the baseball and put mud into the ball before anyone noticed and then throw the ball.
Even his pair catcher went along with the plan, Elston Howard, who used his shin guard to slice the ball as well. Ford said by himself that, “I used enough mud to build a dam,” which mentioned in the 1963 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
