4. Holsten’s from “The Sopranos”
Let’s be honest, from all the Tv Bars and Restaurants so far, this one might be the most tempting to visit. Fans of the show “The Sopranos” who are looking for the taste of the nostalgia should visit Holsten’s ice cream parlor in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Eighty years ago, it was a classic soda shop, selling only soda, ice cream, and candy. They expended the menu as they added traditional American entrées like burgers, fries, and onion rings.
In the last scene of The Sopranos Tony was sitting at a booth in Holsten’s, eating a side of onion rings. Since then, the restaurant has been receiving tour groups every Tuesday and Thursday, people who order the rings in memory of the late James Gandolfini. Since he passed away in 2013, the table where the scene was filmed became off-limits for customers, but it will be filled again once the up coming Sopranos movie comes out in 2021.
