After launching the Realme GT Neo2 Dragon Ball Edition earlier this year, Realme is now back with another iconic anime-themed phone. Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition is now official, and it looks just as cool as you’d expect.

The Realme GT Neo 3 is a special edition smartphone that was released in collaboration with the popular anime series, Naruto. The phone features a custom theme and wallpaper inspired by the show, as well as a few other exclusive goodies.

It packs the same specs as the regular Realme GT Neo 3 but sports a very different exterior. If you’re a fan of Naruto, then this is the perfect phone for you.

The Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto edition was officially announced on May 26, 2022, and is available to order now. The company said that this Naruto Limited Edition will only have 5,000 units in the world. It is currently only available in China and no international release has been announced yet.

As for the price, the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition costs 3,099 yuan (about $460). The 33W Naruto limited edition power bank costs 179 yuan (US$ 26), and the real me GT Neo3 Naruto limited edition case costs 49 yuan (US$ 7.2).

Design

To give fans a complete Naruto experience, Realme has made a customized box for this limited edition phone. The box looks like a ninja scroll made of leather. And when you open it, you’ll see the Realme GT Neo3 with a special Naruto design. The SIM ejector tool, power adapter, USB Type-C cable, and accessories have also been customized.

Taking inspiration from the popular anime series, this limited edition sports a very unique design. The back of the phone takes cues from the signature matte black and fire orange colors of Naruto. The company says it took 17 months of careful polishing for the etching on the back. There’s also a special Realme x Naruto logo beside the camera, which looks really cool.

As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition, apart from its design, is the same as the standard phone that was revealed at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2022. This limited edition phone will still sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has an under-display fingerprint scanner. 

Camera

For the cameras, this limited edition sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The rear cameras have been surrounded by silver metallic accents along with a Hidden Leaf Village symbol. For selfies, there is a 16MP shooter on the front. This is the only Realme smartphone with a centered punch-hole.

Specs and Performance

Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G Octa-Core processor. The single storage variant also features 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 12. This will offer you a fresh, fast, and smooth software experience. This limited edition phone also comes with Naruto-themed wallpapers, 84 APP custom icons, and even a custom charging animation. It also has dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos Games support as well.

Though compared to other phones in the same price range, the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition doesn’t pack the most powerful specs. But it’s still a decent phone that can handle day-to-day tasks without any issues.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition is fueled by a 4500mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. Realme claims that this UltraDart Charge technology can charge the phone from 0 to 50% in just five minutes. This phone also supports 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
