POCO F2 Pro Announced!

Xiaomi’s subsidiary does it again and reveal the POCO F2 with nice specs and friendly price.

2 years after releasing the successful Poco F1, Pocophone does it again with the F2. The new phone has the features of a top smartphone but at half of the price!

The F2 Pro comes with 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 2400X1080 resolution and HDR 10+ support.

The processor will be the new Snapdragon 865 with 6\8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a storage capacity of 128/256 GB type UFS 3.1.

This extreme specs comes with giant 4,700mAh battery that according to Pocophone can live up to – 17 days , 13 hours of gaming or 6 hours of 1080p recording. With the connection adapters Pocophone installed WIFI 6 and 5G, while still having headphone exit and IR Blaster – two features that hard to find these days.

The phone comes with 4 cameras that can record a video in 8K – 64MP Sony  IMX686 sensor as the main camera,13MP ultra wide-angle lens, 5MP macro and one 2MP depth sensor.

The phone has another front camera that pops out of the device and take pictures in 20MP.

The Poco F2 Pro has Xiaomi’s MIUI operation system running on Android 10.

And now for the prices –

  • For 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage you will spend – $540
  • For 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage you will spend – $650

It is higher compared to the F1 (which was marketed at $400) but still pretty attractive compared to the to phones in this category that can reach up to $1000.
