MSI Optix MAG301CR2

MSI announced on their new curve gaming monitor – the MSI Optix MAG301CR2. MSI Otix comes in 29.5-inch WFHD, 21:9 ratio display, a refresh rate of 200Hz, response time of 1ms and support AMD FreeSync Premium.

The new monitor comes with 3 thin bezel sides (top, left and right) and a curve of 1500R for better gaming experience with angle view of 178 degree.

The screen includes blue light filter and Anti-Flicker technologies to prevent from exhausting the user while using the screen for long duration of time.

MSI equipped the new monitor with 7 unique display modes each one for different game genre and include night mode to bright dark areas in-game.

The panel of the screen is VA 8-bits quality with FRC. The screen support 82% of DCI-P3 and 103% sRGB color protocols. MSI combine RGB lighting on the back of the monitor under the name MSI Mystic Light and gave the ability to adjust the RGB lighting via mobile app or direct from unique desktop application.

The I/O ports are:

  • 1x DisplayPort 1.2.
  • 2x HDMI 2.0.
  • 1x USB-C with DisplayPort support.
  • USB central with 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1.
