HP announced on the 8th generation of their business laptop series – EliteBook and ZBooK Firefly. The laptops will be equipped with Intel’s most updated processor – Tiger Lake (11th generation processor). EliteBook comes in 4 different screen size models 13.3, 14- and 15.6-inches display and among one of them is a 2 in 1 model. The ZBook Firefly will come in 14 and 15.6-inch.
HP EliteBook
The EliteBook 800 G8 comes as the successor of the previous generation (G7) for the business market.
- EliteBook 830 G8 13.3-inch Full HD display.
- EliteBook 830 x360 G8 13.3-inch Full HD display 2 in 1 support HP Active Pen G3.
- EliteBook 840 G8 15-inch Full HD display.
- EliteBook 850 G8 15.6-inch Full HD display.
All 4 models come with:
- Intel 11th generation processor Core i5 or i7-U
- Up to 2TB SSD Storage.
- Up to 64GB RAM (x360 get up to 32GB RAM)
- GPU is Intel Iris Xe and for EliteBook 850 G8 you can replace it for GeForce MX450.
HP ZBook Firefly
The ZBook Firefly Comes in 14-inch and 15.6-inch. The ZBook Firefly categorize as the perfect laptop to work with 2D and 3D content.
Both models come with:
- Intel 11th generation processor Core i5 or i7
- Up to 2TB SDD Storage
- Built in Intel GPU Iris Xe or can be replace for Nivida T500.
The differences between the 2 models are:
- ZBook Firefly 14 G8 – 32GB DDR4 RAM, 14-inch Full HD display.
- ZBook Firefly 15 G8 – 64GB DDR4 RAM, 15.6-inch Full HD display with option to upgrade to touch screen and better panel with UHD 4K Display
The new HP laptops series EliteBook 800 8G and ZBook Firefly G8 will be available later this month with an unknown price tag.
