The first rule of replacing actors is – If you are going to switch an actress with another one, make sure you find another candidate who resembles to the original stars. The producers of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air didn’t do this and upset may loyal fans.
Janet Hubert was the original actress to play as Aunt Vivian. Hubert was replaced due conflicts with Will Smith behind the scenes. Instead of finding another actress who resembled Hubert, they picked Daphne Maxwell Reid and tried to convince the fans that she was the real Aunt Vivian. Well at least they didn’t change our beloved Uncle Phil.
