7. Twisters from “Breaking Bad”
Sorry to upset you guys but there is no restaurant under the name “Los Pollos Hermanos” . Instead, scenes in the infamous fictional restaurant were filmed at the Twisters location in South Valley, Albuquerque, New Mexico. According to reports, once the information about the film location was spread out, the revenue of the restaurant increased by 10%.
In fact, there are total twenty Twisters locations, eighteen of them are in New Mexico and another two in Colorado. Their menu includes combination of traditional Mexican food while also absorb influence from Native American cuisine. Surprisingly, more permanent plans are reportedly in the works to turn “Los Pollos Hermanos” into a real restaurant chain.
