MSI Optix MAG301CR2

MSI announced on their new curve gaming monitor – the MSI Optix MAG301CR2. MSI Otix comes in 29.5-inch WFHD, 21:9 ratio display, a refresh rate of 200Hz, response time of 1ms and support AMD FreeSync Premium.

The new monitor comes with 3 thin bezel sides (top, left and right) and a curve of 1500R for better gaming experience with angle view of 178 degree.

The screen includes blue light filter and Anti-Flicker technologies to prevent from exhausting the user while using the screen for long duration of time.

MSI equipped the new monitor with 7 unique display modes each one for different game genre and include night mode to bright dark areas in-game.

The panel of the screen is VA 8-bits quality with FRC. The screen support 82% of DCI-P3 and 103% sRGB color protocols. MSI combine RGB lighting on the back of the monitor under the name MSI Mystic Light and gave the ability to adjust the RGB lighting via mobile app or direct from unique desktop application.

The I/O ports are:

  • 1x DisplayPort 1.2.
  • 2x HDMI 2.0.
  • 1x USB-C with DisplayPort support.
  • USB central with 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1.

Philips 326P1H and Philips 329P1H

MMD announced on their new Philips monitors – the Philips 326P1H and 329P1H. Both monitors come in 31.5-inch display, resolution of UHD 4k and QHD and a built-in camera which can be used for example for the Windows Hello face recognition technology.

Both monitors come with IPS panel 16:9 and the response time of both displays is 4ms. Like other Philips monitors, Both P1H come with blue filter light, Flicker-Free technologic to put less pressure on the user eyes, PowerSensor for power saving when the user is not around the monitor area and LightSensor to adjust automatically the brightness of the display align with the brightness of the room.

The resolution and refresh rate are different for each monitor:

  • 326P1H – UHD 4k of 2160×3840 and refresh rate of 60hz
  • 329P1H – QHD of 1440×2560 and refresh rate of 75hz

On the I/O section, both monitors come with 2 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C not only as DisplayPort but also as charging port to other devices that support that kind of technology.

The 326P1H also equipped with DisplayPort-out for chaining another monitor to them. And like other Philips monitors 326P1H and 329P1H come with 2 5W speakers built in.

The new Philips monitors are available at 489 Euros for the 326P1H model and 659 Euros for the 329P1H model.

AOC New 31.5-inch Carved Gaming Displays

AOC lately announced on 2 new 31.5-inch carved gaming monitors form the G2 series -the CQ32G2SE comes with QHD resolutions and the C32G2AE comes with Full HD Resolutions.

Both monitors come with refresh rate of 165Hz and response time of 1ms with support in AMD’s FreeSync Premium.
