Fast And Furious Series Will End After The 11th Movie

While the 9th movie of Fast and Furious series is already finished and waiting for its premiere, Universal Pictures studio announced that the 10th and 11th will be the last movies for this series.

Justin Lin, the director of the last 5 out of 9 Fast & Furious movies, started his journey on the 3rd movie, which took Fast & Furious to Tokyo. Lin might end the movie series with movie that splits into 2 parts like what happened with the Avengers – “Infinite War” and “Endgame”.

The list of the actors that going to be in the last 2 movies haven’t been published yet. We can assume that the main actors will be there. Among them you can find Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson.

Since those 2 movies will recap the series we might as well see actors that took small roles in the series like Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.

Even if Universal Pictures about to recap the Fast & Furious franchise, it doesn’t mean they going to give up completely on the successful series. Since Fast & Furious 10th and 11th will end the first series, we still have more Fast & Furious contents. For example, we had the spin off Hobbs & Shaw, we also have the animated kid show series the Fast & Furious Spy Racers that come back with 2nd season on Netflix early this month.

More then that, Universal Pictures announced another spin off that currently at screenplay stages. The movie will focus on female characters and the screenwriter of this movie will be none other than Nicole Perlman who was the screenwriter of “Guardians Of The Galaxy” and “Captain Marvel”.

Meanwhile, the next movie Fast & Furious 9 will be on the big screens on May 2021. On the actors list of this movie, among the regular crew, you can find the wrestler John Cena, Cardi B and a special guest – Helen Mirren.

Surprising Appearance in Fast & Furious 9


The Grammy award winner, Cardi B will appear in the next movie of the epic franchise “Fast & Furious 9”. Her first appearance was on “Hustlers” which grossed $100 million. Her role on Universal’s movie should be small.


Lead actor and producer, Vin Diesel, posted a video on the social network Instagram with the famous rapper, sharing his feeling about the last day of shooting for the upcoming movie.

Earlier this year it was known that Cardi B is not the only singer to take part in the movie. It was informed that Ozuna, the Latin pop star will be a part of the film and will take part in the soundtrack. It’s still unknown rather Cardi B will also work on the soundtrack.


The cast of the 9th film has many familiar names such as – Vin Diesel, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster alongside new names like John Cena, Michael Rooker and Finn Cole.

The Fast & Furious 9 will be released on May 22nd, 2020.

New Cast Members for the Upcoming Movie of the Fast and Furious Franchise


Their role is still unknown and kept in secret but Vinnie Bennett, Finn Cole and Anna Sawai will join Fast and Furious 9.

The 9th movie of the franchise is about to be released on May 2022 and the production is scheduled for this month. The director will be the 6th Fast & Furious’ director, Justin Lin.

We know the fans can’t wait to see the upcoming 9th movie but in the meantime you guys can enjoy Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham in Fast & Furious spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw – releases in August.

Vin Diesel plays the main character of the franchise, Dominic Toretto, is also the producer of 5 movies in the franchise: The Fate of the Furious, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6 and Furious 7 which were the top movies of the series.
