Shortridge Academy calls itself a therapeutic school. The school says it focuses on mental aspect as a top priority. They help students to get the right decisions and go through adolescence. In fact, each student has his/her own counselor to talk about their personal things and the counselor (if necessary) work with their parents to help build a therapeutic plan.
