Logitech K845 Mechanical Keyboard Announced

Logitech, the known manufacturer of computer’s peripherals and software company, announced their new mechanical keyboard, the Logitech K845 Mechanical Illuminated. This wired keyboard equipped with backlight and 5 different types of mechanical keys so you can choose which one better fits your typing style.

The new K845 keyboard will serve customers that wants to have a simple mechanic keyboard for regular use, who don’t interested in investing too much on a high priced keyboard and don’t want to buy mechanical gaming keyboard.

The keyboard comes in minimalist build with aluminum body and not build in keys “on air” that not in special frame (in some other keyboards, each key have its own build in frames and it looks like a beehive keyboard).

The keyboard also has 5 different backlight styles: Breathing, Random Serpent, Reactive and Static. You can decrease or increase the brightness.

And now let’s talk about the keys, with the keyboard you can choose 1 of the 5 mechanical key switches types.

  • Red Keys – Simple fast linear keys with no feedback force or click sound (popular among the gamers).
  • Blue Keys – Keys with click feedback and have louder click noise (popular among the people who love to type)
  • Brown Keys – Keys with click feedback but without the sound, kind of compromise between the red keys and the blue keys.

In addition to the regular key types, the users will be able to choose other mechanical key switch types (the 4th and 5th types) . The red and blue key switches from CHERRY MX – one of the most known companies for mechanical key switches.

The new Logitech K845 Mechanical Illuminated will be available for $60 for the 3 regulars mechanical key switches types (Red, Blue and Brown) and $80 for the Cherry MX mechanical key switch types (Red and blue)
